A jam-packed schedule of FREE activities for the summer holidays is about to be launched by Great Dawley Town Council as part of the Let’s Get Telford Active campaign.
Dawley is going to be buzzing this summer. There is so much going on and something to suit almost everyone.
Each event aims to be fun and friendly way for people to develop a love for activity if they are out of practice – or even for people to get active for the first time. Being active with others is just more fun, people can support and encourage each other while creating fun memories.
The free sessions have been made possible through a £4,000 grant from Telford & Wrekin Council as part of the Telford Get Active programme.
Something for everyone
Sessions are open to children and adults and a number of locations in Dawley.

- Bikeability at Dawley Church of England School and Old Park Primary School
Sessions will be happening every week. All the sessions are free, but registration is required.
Specialist coaches will be on hand to help beginners or coach those who are more experienced.
Match funding has also been provided with £500 from Great Dawley Town Council and £500 from the Friends of Dawley Park.
Let’s Get Telford Active
