Many Telford residents took part in the ‘clap for our carers’ to show support for people battling the spread of the coronavirus.
One local paramedic called Jordan told Telford & Wrekin Council this message of thanks on Facebook:
To every single one of you who took the time to clap for us tonight. Please understand that it has given us the biggest confidence boost. You have no idea how much it means to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Jordan and your NHS ❤️
This was was how Pasteur Drive, a street right next to the Princess Royal Hospital reacted.
It goes without saying that it’s wonderful to see people come together to show their appreciation for carers and the NHS.
And remember, we can all do our bit to help them. make sure you stay at home where you can.
- Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
- Stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people
- Wash your hands as soon as you get home
