Active breaks and learning webinar recap

In January, we delivered the fourth session in our School Health and Wellbeing Webinar Series, which focussed on ‘Active Breaks and Active Learning’, and was presented by Sam Ostermeyer, the Children and Young People Programme Manager from Energize.

What is active learning?

Active learning is a teaching approach where children are directly involved in the learning process. Through physical, social, and mental engagement, they are better able to make meaningful connections and retain information.

Active breaks are short bursts of movement that help children reset their energy levels, improve focus, and support both physical and emotional wellbeing.

Energize supports children and young people to live active lives.

Visit the Energize website to find out more about the work they do within schools.
