Boost your immunity through diet

A bowl filled with colourful fruit and vegetables

We all know that at different times of the year our immunity takes a hit – this can be due to the winter weather, flu and cold bugs going around, or to being run down ourselves…

A great way to keep our immunity up all year round is by ensuring that we have a healthy balanced diet, making sure we include plenty of foods that are packed with the vitamins and minerals that our body needs.

What foods boost our immunity?

Herbs and spices

Another way of boosting our immune system through food is by adding herbs and spices, many of which have beneficial effects on the body. For example, turmeric helps to reduce inflammation, ginger supports digestion, and garlic can help reduce cold symptoms as well as promoting heart health.
