The Schools Health and Wellbeing webinar series continued strong in May. Having previously talked about afterschool cooking clubs, the Eatwell Team’s next session for the programme tackled delivering cooking sessions during curriculum time.
Cooking is far more than just preparing food. When children learn to cook, they develop confidence, creativity and essential life skills while gaining a better understanding of healthy eating.
This webinar highlights how schools can successfully plan and deliver cooking activities during the school day and make the most of the learning opportunities they provide. It looks at everything from risk assessments to simple recipe ideas.
